One system, one point of responsibility

Turnkey biomass drying plants — burner, hot air generator and chambers

Engineered as a single unit, delivered under a single scope.

A turnkey biomass drying plant brings the burner, hot air generator, ducting and drying chambers under a single contractual scope. The range covers 200,000 to 900,000 kcal/h with 1,500 kg chambers, a 10–18 week manufacturing lead time and a 12-month warranty from date of shipment.

Buying a burner from one supplier, a heat exchanger from another and chambers from a third is how projects acquire the interface problems that surface at commissioning — mismatched airflow, control systems that will not talk to each other, and a warranty position where every party points at the others.

Indicative price, Ex-Works (EXW): USD 98,000–230,000

Shipping, customs clearance and local duties are extra. The final price depends on the configuration and is fixed in the written quotation.

Integration advantages

  • Matched components — blower capacity, duct sizing and chamber volume calculated together rather than assumed.
  • Single control architecture — burner, generator and chambers on one PLC system with one operator interface.
  • Verified performance — commissioned against a specification, not assembled and hoped for.
  • Unified warranty — twelve months from shipment across the supplied scope.
  • Coherent spares — one parts list, one supplier, one lead time.

What is included, and what is yours

  • Shipping charges, ECTN where applicable, third-party inspection
  • Outside West Africa: team travel, accommodation and entry formalities
Indicative scope. It is confirmed in writing at quotation stage — unstated exclusions are what cause disputes.

Delivery timeline

Manufacture in 10–18 weeks from confirmed order and receipt of advance payment, with installation and commissioning scheduled thereafter.

Configure the plant

Where this equipment is used

The same equipment is specified across several product classes. These are the ones it is configured for most often:

industrial mango drying system, fish and seafood drying and livestock feed drying.

Each of those pages carries the drying parameters, cycle times and quality targets for that product class.

One system has been commissioned so far: a 900,000 kcal/h cashew shell burner firing a steam boiler at Premium Cashew Commodities Limited in The Gambia, on the factory’s own empty shell. It is a boiler application — no drying line has been built anywhere yet, so every drying figure on this site remains an engineered design target. The configuration is published in full, and the measured performance deliberately is not, on the page for the PCCL installation in The Gambia.

Frequently asked questions

What is included, and what stays my responsibility?

Included: design and sizing, manufacture and quality control, marine packing, erection supervision, commissioning, operator and maintenance training, and full documentation. Buyer’s responsibility: civil works and foundations, 400 V three-phase power to the panel terminals, water to one connection point, customs clearance and inland transport, and erection labour under our supervision. We issue layout drawings and load figures at order so that work runs in parallel with the 10–18 week build.

Why buy the whole line rather than the stages separately?

Because the sizing lives at the interfaces: burner rating against generator airflow, airflow against chamber volume, and control across the whole. Under a single scope those trade-offs are settled once — a 600,000 kcal/h burner against a generator moving 2,500 to 3,000 m³/h against six 1,500 kg chambers — and there is one party to call if the plant does not perform.

How long from order to production?

10–18 weeks of manufacture from confirmed order and receipt of advance payment, then shipping, erection and commissioning. Site survey and design sizing happen before that clock starts, and civil works should run in parallel rather than after. Warranty is 12 months from date of shipment.
