Custom biomass drying systems engineered to your process
Configured from first principles around your requirement.
Where product, site or production model falls outside our standard configurations, we design and build to the brief. This is full project engineering — not a standard system with modifications, but a plant configured from first principles.
Development process

Production to approved drawings with quality control.
- 06Installation & commissioning
Supervision, calibration and performance verification.
- 07Training & handover
Operator, maintenance and management-level instruction.
Customisation areas
- Product-specific engineering — chambers, racking and airflow configured to the material.
- Environmental adaptation — high ambient temperature, high humidity, high dust or coastal corrosion.
- Infrastructure integration — working within existing buildings, power constraints and process lines.
- Fuel adaptation — designed around the residue actually available at the site.
- Scalable architecture — plants designed at phase one to accept phase two without rebuilding.
Control-system customisation
- Interface design — appropriate to operator literacy and language, a real design constraint and not an afterthought.
- Application-specific monitoring — tracking the parameters that matter for your product.
- Integration with existing systems — where plant control already exists.
- Remote access — where connectivity supports it.
- Documentation output — records formatted to your certification or buyer-audit requirement.
Specification
These are the platform figures every configuration on this page is built from. The values specific to your product and volume are fixed at the sizing stage.

In prose: the burner runs from 200,000 to 900,000 kcal/h under PLC-controlled staged combustion, firing pellets, 90 × 90 mm briquettes, cashew shell or crop residue. The three-pass double-chamber generator moves 2,500 to 3,000 m³/h and delivers air between 50 and 150 °C, transferred indirectly so combustion gases never touch the product. Drying chambers hold 40 to 100 °C at 2.0 to 3.0 m/s with 1,500 kg per batch, built from 100 mm rockwool-core sandwich panel to a 120-minute fire rating, with SS304 trays and wagons. Manufacturing takes 10 to 18 weeks from confirmed order and receipt of advance payment, and the warranty runs 12 months from date of shipment.
Where this equipment is used
The same equipment is specified across several product classes. These are the ones it is configured for most often:
tropical fruit drying and fish and protein drying.
Each of those pages carries the drying parameters, cycle times and quality targets for that product class.
Frequently asked questions
Where does a custom line differ from a standard configuration?
Usually in the layout and the interfaces rather than the equipment: an existing building, an odd site footprint, an upstream process that has to connect, or a product with no established drying parameters. The burner, generator and chambers come from the same platform across 200,000 to 900,000 kcal/h; what is drawn from scratch is how they fit your site.
What happens if our product has no published drying parameters?
Then the parameters are established by trial before anything is quoted as an outcome. We will not put a temperature and cycle time in a proposal for a product nobody has dried in this equipment. The chamber envelope of 40 to 100 °C and 2.0 to 3.0 m/s bounds what is possible; the setpoint inside it comes from the trial.
Who is responsible for civil works and connections?
The buyer, and it is worth being blunt about it early. Foundations, the slab, the main electrical connection and earthing to our panel, drains and make-up water are outside our scope. We supply layout drawings and load figures at order so the work can be done in parallel with the 10–18 week manufacturing period rather than after it.
